We build the compute we wanted to own
Renting cloud inference at thousands a month made no sense when Ontario power is cheap and the hardware can live where you trust it. So we built it. Now we build it for others.
The origin
Customer zero is us. Nightly agentic workflows were costing about $5,000 a month on a hyperscaler. We priced a build, ran the math, and committed: a multi-GPU node meshed with spare hardware, hosted on a fast Canadian connection. The system we built for ourselves is the product we now build for you.
The conviction
Compute you depend on should be compute you own, on soil you trust. Canada sits low in the global hardware queue, so we are scrappy: we mesh old and new hardware into capacity, and we build an Oxide-class standard of engineering at workstation and node scale.
